Caregiver Burnout

Area of Support

Caregiver Burnout

If the stresses of caregiving are being ignored, it can take a toll on your health and personal relationships – eventually leading to burnout. Burnout is a state of emotional, mental, and physical exhaustion. At this point, the caregiver and recipient will both suffer.

Self-care is not a luxury, and it is a necessity. Cultivating your own emotional and physical well-being is equally important as ensuring your family members can attend their doctors’ appointments and takes medication on time.

I can offer support in reducing stress and becoming self-aware of the feelings associated with caregiver stress. It will allow you to form strong relationships with your family, friends and the care recipient.
