The length of treatment varies for each individual, and it will depend on your goals and history. In the first couple of sessions, we will discuss what the treatment can look like. Research suggests that the majority of individuals will remain in therapy for approximately 12-20 sessions to achieve their goals. Some individuals who may need fewer sessions, especially if the therapy is for a specific shorter-term problem. Others who may require more sessions if they have multiple issues or wanting to understand and make changes to life-long patterns.
Yes, I will protect your personal health information. Your personal health information will not be disclosed to others without your consent unless required by law (e.g., child protection, health professional sexual abuse, court order) or ethical/professional standards (e.g. risk of serious bodily harm).
Yes, I have limited spaces available, and it depends on your financial situation.
If you decide to cancel or reschedule your appointments times, please provide me with 24 hours notice. I will charge for any missed appointments or appointments cancelled with less that 24 hours notice.
